Melissa Crawford joined AQR Law as an articled student in 2022 and as an associate in 2023. Melissa comes from a union family, and she is deeply committed to the labour movement and its values of solidarity and collective action.

Melissa received her Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa, and her J.D. from the University of Victoria. Prior to law school, Melissa worked in disability services and accessible education. While in law school, Melissa completed a co-op term at a large public sector union and a clinical term providing legal services to low-income clients.

Melissa is a long-time ringette goalie and coach. She has represented BC, Ontario, and the University of Ottawa, and she continues to play competitively. Melissa is fluent in English, French, and Italian. Her hobbies include cooking, video games, and reading.
